The ski district is situated at the meeting point of three valleys and connects the ski areas of Cortina and Alta Badia. Skiing is possible on Mount Lagazuoi, whose peak is the starting point for the Lagazuoi and the famous Armentola pistes, or on Col Gallina, which is home to many pistes suitable for beginners and children.

The Faloria cable car takes skiers from the centre of Cortina to Mount Faloria (2134 metres) in just a few minutes, where they can enjoy 30 kilometres of perfectly groomed snowy pistes. The Faloria tracks can also be reached from Rio Gere, approximately seven kilometres from the centre of Cortina.

The ski area can be accessed from Rio Gere, approximately seven kilometres from Cortina. A modern four-seater ski-lift allows skiers to reach the pistes that were the "birthplace" of the legendary Alberto Tomba. Expert skiers can ascend to Staunies (3000 metres) to tackle the Canalone Staunies black piste. The Cristallo pistes are linked to the Caloria ones at Rio Gere.

Cinque Torri Ski Area

The Cinque Torri Ski Area is situated on two slopes. The northernmost one is home to pistes that connect the Averau hut with Bai de Dones, while the southern one has a single piste that connects Forcella Nuvolau to the Fedare hut near the Giau Pass. The pistes are easy and medium difficulty.
