This church shows the traces of three civilisations. Excavations have revealed an Etruscan part, with a magnificent sacrificial altar and the stairs of a temple, which flanks the Roman part, recognisable in the cylindrical part of the bell tower, and the Christian part. Bonano Mill

Bonano Mill dates from the late eighteenth century and played an important role in the local economy, due to its proximity to the chestnut woods that supplied a fundamental staple food in times of famine. It was renovated in 1999 and restored to its original working order. Today is still used to produce exceptionally fine flours. The mill belongs to the Bardelli family, who are pleased to offer guided tours upon appointment by telephone.
